Courtney Hadwin makes a stunning comeback in London and previews a new song that left fans speechless

Courtney Hadwin is back—and she didn’t just return, she owned the stage.

On May 30, 2025, the powerhouse singer lit up The Fiddler’s Elbow in London with a raw, emotional, and unforgettable show. Marking her first live performance in London in years, Hadwin made history by being the first artist ever to sell out the iconic venue. And what made the night even more special? A surprise preview of a brand-new, never-before-heard track that left the audience speechless.

Watch the video below.

From the very beginning of the song, the room fell into stunned silence. The lyrics hit hard, pulling everyone into a moody and poetic world that only Courtney could create. Fans were visibly moved, as lines like “You’d rather die and stay pretty than live and stay with me” and “You look so good when you’re going down” echoed through the room. It wasn’t just catchy—it was hauntingly real.

The gritty tone, powerful delivery, and grunge-inspired lyrics gave fans a taste of what could be her most personal project yet. With her signature raspy voice and unfiltered stage energy, Hadwin held nothing back. The buzz around the track only grew as fans realized they were witnessing something brand new.

After the show, Hadwin shared her thoughts in a heartfelt Instagram post that gave followers even more reason to love her:

My first ever show back in London! I’m actually speechless right now while writing this and so overwhelmed by the amount of love that was in one room… It was so cool to see my music bringing people together and you guys meeting each other for the first time… I loved speaking to every single one of you and love that you’re already planning your trips to the next shows heheh…

Being and performing on stage has always been my second home… I’m blown away that we were the first ever people to SELL OUT Fiddler’s Elbow—that was crazyyyy to hear considering the people who have performed there!!!!

I’m so so grateful to do this with every single one of you… It was a very special night and we are only just beginning! People really aren’t ready for what we have in store hehe ♥️♥️

Fans didn’t just attend a concert—they became part of a moment that marked the beginning of a new era for Courtney. Between custom fan-made t-shirts, flowers, and emotional hugs after the show, it was clear the bond between Hadwin and her followers runs deep.

Here’s a snippet of the song that gave everyone goosebumps:

“You’d rather die and stay pretty
than live and stay with me.
Acting like you’re in the velvet underground
and you look so good when you’re going down.
You’d run in a fast town.
Oh, think you’re so echoing my name,
but you don’t even know how.”
