Blake Shelton & Lainey Wilson set to ignite the ACM Awards 2025 stage with s.u.rprise performances that could steal the show

Who’s ready for the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards?

On March 24, the Academy of Country Music, Prime Video and Dick Clark Productions revealed Blake Shelton, Eric Church and Lainey Wilson as the first round of performers set to take the stage at the upcoming 2025 ACM Awards.

Hosted by Reba McEntire, the awards show will stream stream live via Prime Video from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on May 8.

Shelton, 48, will perform after his recent single “Texas” has been finding success on the country charts. His upcoming album, For Recreational Use Only, is set for a May 9 release.

Wilson, 32 — who won entertainer of the year at last year’s ceremony — is currently promoting her latest album, Whirlwind. Her performance will arrive a few months before she kicks off the Whirlwind World Tour’s North American leg on Aug. 14.

Church, 47, will have his moment on the ACM Awards stage will come shortly after his new album, Evangeline Vs. the Machine, comes out May 2.

Nominations for the 2025 ACM Awards will be unveiled later this month. Fans can purchase tickets to attend the ceremony via SeatGeek.

Additional performers, presenters and events related to the ceremony will be announced soon.

Last year’s ACM Awards, also hosted by McEntire, saw Wilson and Chris Stapleton emerge as the night’s top winners with three trophies each.

Wilson won entertainer of the year, female artist of the year and music event of the year for “Save Me” with Jelly Roll, while Stapleton won album of the year for Higher, male artist of the year and artist-songwriter of the year.

The 2024 award for song of the year was awarded to writers Jordan Davis, Chase McGill, Greylan James, Josh Osborne for Davis’ “Next Thing You Know.” New male artist of the year went to Nate Smith, while new female artist of the year went to Megan Moroney.
