Sydnie Christmas has set her sights on a dream duet, and her choice of music legend is as bold as it is unexpected.

Sydnie Christmas Sets Her Sights on a Dream Duet with Celine Dion

At just 29, Sydnie Christmas has already taken the music world by storm, winning Britain’s Got Talent in 2024, performing for King Charles at the Royal Variety Performance, and even gracing the stage of the prestigious Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. But during her ‘My Way’ tour stop at The Glasshouse in Gateshead on Wednesday (19.02.25), she revealed her ultimate dream collaboration.

During a live Q&A with the audience, Sydnie was asked which artist she’d most love to work with. Without hesitation, she responded, “Oh, I know that. Celine Dion!” A bold choice, but with her powerhouse vocals and commanding stage presence, it’s easy to see why she aspires to duet with one of the greatest voices of all time.

The evening kicked off in style, with BGT judge Amanda Holden welcoming the audience via a recorded message before Sydnie took to the stage. She opened with a dazzling medley of Diamonds Are Forever and Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend, setting the tone for a night filled with musical brilliance.

Throughout the show, she delivered stunning renditions of beloved classics, including Tomorrow from Annie—the song that earned her the Golden Buzzer during her BGT audition—and Over the Rainbow, her unforgettable winning performance.

With a growing list of career highlights and a dream collaboration on the horizon, Sydnie Christmas continues to prove she’s a star on the rise—one step closer to making her Celine Dion duet a reality.
