Bruce Springsteen<\/span>\u00a0has dedicated his latest single,\u00a0I\u2019ll See You In My Dreams, to his late friend Michael Gudinski.<\/p>\n

The 71-year-old superstar shared the lyric video for his new song on social media on Thursday, and preceded it with the message: \u2018In memory of\u00a0Michael Gudinski\u2019.<\/p>\n

Bruce\u2019s touching tribute came just days after the Australian music legend died suddenly in his sleep while at home in\u00a0Melbourne<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Dancing In the Dark singer captioned the post with a selection of lyrics from the moving song.<\/div>\n
\u2018The road is long and seeming without end \/ The days go on, I remember you my friend \/\u00a0And though you\u2019re gone \/ And my heart\u2019s been emptied it seems \/ I\u2019ll see you in my dreams\u2019.<\/div>\n

Bruce also paid tribute to\u00a0Gudinski on Instagram on Tuesday, following his death at the age of 68.<\/p>\n

\u2018My friend Michael Gudinski was first, last, and always a music man. I\u2019ve toured the world for the last fifty years and never met a better promoter,\u2019 he began.<\/p>\n

\u2018Michael always spoke with a deep rumbling voice, and the words would spill out so fast that half the time I needed an interpreter.<\/p>\n

\u2018But I could hear him clear as a bell when he would say, \u201cBruce, I\u2019ve got you covered.\u201d And he always did.<\/p>\n

\u2018He was loud, always in motion, intentionally (and unintentionally) hilarious, and deeply soulful.<\/p>\n

\u2018He will be remembered by artists, including this one, from all over the world every time they step foot on Australian soil.\u2019<\/p>\n

Gudinski, who was widely regarded as the \u2018father of the Australian music industry\u2019, passed away in Melbourne on Monday night.<\/p>\n

The music promoter formed record label Mushroom Records at just 20 years old, and went on to sign and launch the careers of local artists such as Kylie Minogue.<\/p>\n

In 1979, he established concert promoter Frontier Touring and\u00a0stayed at its helm until his death.<\/p>\n

Mushroom Group said in a statement at the time: \u2018It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Gudinski AM overnight.<\/p>\n

\u2018The much-loved Australian music legend died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Melbourne, Australia. Michael Gudinski was a key figure in shaping the Australian music industry.\u2019<\/p>\n
