And, apparently, her incredible singing talent runs in the family, as evident in a video from Lynne\u2019s\u00a0Homecoming Weekend\u00a0in Oklahoma City, back in 2017.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wqDooC5V\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"media__image-wrapper\">\n<div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nbc.com\/sites\/nbcblog\/files\/styles\/scale_862\/public\/2024\/01\/agt-fantasy-league-106-darci-lynne2.jpg\" alt=\"Darci Lynne performs during Season 1 Episode 6 of America's Got Talent: Fantasy League\" width=\"862\" height=\"575\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"media__metadata\">\n<div class=\"media__metadata-wrapper\"><span class=\"media__caption\">Darci Lynne performs during Season 1 Episode 6 of America\u2019s Got Talent: Fantasy League\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"media__credit\">Photo: Chris Haston\/NBC<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The clip features Lynne and\u00a0her lookalike mom, Misty, sitting onstage together as they perform the traditional holiday carol, \u201cSilent Night.\u201d Lynne serenades the audience when she starts singing, but it\u2019s Misty who really stuns the audience with her vocals \u2014 so much so that she has to briefly pause her singing as the crowd cheers.<\/p>\n<h2>Celebrate Christmas in July with this Darci Lynne performance of \u201cSilent Night\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>The duet is a beautiful moment for the mother-daughter duo. As their performance ends, they both stand and hug one another as their cover receives a thunderous reaction from the audience. They truly took them to church!<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the only time Lynne and Misty have collaborated on a classic song together. They also sang a stunning rendition of Leonard Cohen\u2019s \u201dHallelujah\u201d to celebrate Easter.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0<em>The Washington Post<\/em>, \u201cSilent Night\u201d is the most covered song of all time, with \u201cmore than 3,700 interpretations\u201d of the classic Christmas carol. Lynne is no stranger to covers; she\u2019s put her own unique spin on songs like Etta James\u2019\u00a0\u201cSomething\u2019s Got a Hold on Me,\u201d \u201cMake You Feel My Love\u201d by Bob Dylan, and newer tracks like \u201cVampire\u201d by Olivia Rodrigo.<\/p>\n<p>Lynne even starred in her own 2018 holiday special,\u00a0<em>Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas<\/em>, which featured her covering classic songs like \u201cSanta Baby\u201d and \u201cRockin\u2019 Around the Christmas Tree.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"6iL4GCM2\"><\/div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\"
