Who\u2019s ready for the\u00a060th Academy of Country Music Awards?<\/p>\n

On March 24, the Academy of Country Music, Prime Video and Dick Clark Productions revealed\u00a0Blake Shelton,\u00a0Eric Church\u00a0and\u00a0Lainey Wilson\u00a0as the first round of performers set to take the stage at the upcoming 2025 ACM Awards.<\/p>\n

Hosted by\u00a0Reba McEntire, the awards show will stream stream live via Prime Video from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on May 8.<\/p>\n

Shelton, 48, will perform after his recent single \u201cTexas\u201d has been finding success on the country charts. His upcoming album,\u00a0For Recreational Use Only<\/em>, is set for a May 9 release.<\/p>\n

Wilson, 32 \u2014\u00a0who\u00a0won entertainer of the year at last year\u2019s ceremony\u00a0\u2014 is currently promoting her latest album,\u00a0Whirlwind<\/em>. Her performance will arrive a few months before she kicks off the Whirlwind World Tour\u2019s North American leg on Aug. 14.<\/p>\n

Church, 47, will have his moment on the ACM Awards stage will come shortly after his new album,\u00a0Evangeline Vs. the Machine<\/em>, comes out May 2.<\/p>\n

Nominations for the 2025 ACM Awards will be unveiled later this month. Fans can purchase tickets to attend the ceremony via SeatGeek.<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s ACM Awards, also hosted by McEntire, saw Wilson and\u00a0Chris Stapleton\u00a0emerge as the night\u2019s top winners with three trophies each.<\/p>\n

Wilson won entertainer of the year, female artist of the year and music event of the year for \u201cSave Me\u201d with\u00a0Jelly Roll,\u00a0while Stapleton won album of the year for\u00a0Higher<\/em>, male artist of the year and artist-songwriter of the year.<\/p>\n

The 2024 award for song of the year was awarded to writers Jordan Davis, Chase McGill, Greylan James,\u00a0Josh Osborne for Davis\u2019 \u201cNext Thing You Know.\u201d New male artist of the year went to Nate Smith, while new female artist of the year went to\u00a0Megan Moroney.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
