America\u2019s Got Talent<\/em>\u00a0music and\u00a0ventriloquist prodigy\u00a0Darci Lynne\u00a0took to social media with a sublime cover of \u201cMake You Feel My Love,\u201d\u00a0Adele\u2019s\u00a0version. (The original song is actually by\u00a0Bob Dylan). With this performance, Lynne proved once again that she\u2019s a force of nature when it comes to\u00a0belting out high notes.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s rare that an artist as young as Lynne (she\u2019s only 19 years old!) can stand toe-to-toe with someone like Adele. But Lynne is an extraordinary talent.<\/p>\n

The wildest part of this video is how\u00a0casually<\/em>\u00a0Lynne belts out the song\u2019s trademark high notes. So effortless!<\/p>\n

While fans certainly have a soft spot for the\u00a0ventriloquist skills\u00a0that made her a viral sensation while competing on\u00a0AGT<\/em>, Lynne singing with no additional props is just as gripping.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what to know about \u201cMake You Feel My Love\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Although Adele\u2019s version of \u201cMake You Feel My Love\u201d is a fan-favorite track from her 2008 debut studio album\u00a019<\/em>, the renowned singer did not create the iconic tune. That specific credit goes to one of the greatest songwriters of all time,\u00a0Bob Dylan.<\/p>\n

Originally written and recorded in 1997 for his\u00a0Time Out of Mind<\/em>\u00a0album, the original Dylan version of \u201cMake You Feel My Love\u201d is considered the definitive performance. It was never released a single, so it didn\u2019t have an impact on charts.<\/p>\n

That said,\u00a0Billy Joel\u2019s\u00a0version (albeit with a slightly different title of \u201cTo Make You Feel My Love\u201d) reached number-50 on the\u00a0Billboard<\/em>\u00a0Hot 100\u00a0when it was released as the lead single off his\u00a0Greatest Hits Volume III<\/em>\u00a0album (coincidentally in 1997, as well).<\/p>\n

Due to its folk roots and straightforward arrangement (a staple of many Dylan songs), the song is a popular cover choice for artists.\u00a0Garth Brooks\u2019\u00a01998 rendition earned the country star a\u00a0Grammy nomination\u00a0for Best Male Country Vocal Performance while also giving Dylan a nomination for Best Country Song.
